Artist Statement: I build imagined and psychological landscapes to dance between the detailed and the abstract, realism and surrealism. I want my forms to float in a liminal space, using my detailed mark making to balance story with the visually aesthetic, expressing the preciousness of time passing. My work highlights absurd nods to architectural constraints that are there only to prop up the stories we tell ourselves and each other. The weight will not hold.
